Ilaria Consoloni

Ilaria Consoloni has a degree in Geological Sciences got at University of Pisa in 2004 discussing a dissertation in geological mapping and facies analysis of Pleistocene deposits of the Lower Cecina Valley. During 2003 she took part to the geological mapping project (C.A.R.G.) of the Regione Toscana for the geological survey of 294040 section. Since 2005 to 2008 she studied the littoral sands (fluvial, beach and dune) provenance of the Pisa coast through the quantitative petrographic analysis. In 2009 she completed a first level Master in “Sistemi Informativi Territoriali” at the University of Pisa. Since 01/01/2009 she is a PhD student of the Earth Science Department of Pisa. Her PhD project concerns the paleoclimatic and paleoecologic reconstruction of the argentine Patagonia through the study of the coastal Quaternary deposits and the geochemistry of stable isotopes and trace elements.
